I decided the overall spawn area could use more of a forest rather than the half-forest that it was beforehand, as well as a bit of stone at the top since you'd feel too forced having to dig down in the beginning. Here's what that looks like:
I also went ahead and started working on the ore deposits-- of course working from coal down the line to the rarest ore (which I believe is currently titanium). In the end it is going to look something like this:
I do plan on wrapping up the ore stuff very soon if I have the time, and possibly adding more to the top of the world as well. I have plenty of "red trees" I'd like to add to the right side of the world very soon.
