Before you say this sounds like a super clickbait-y YouTube video, I just want to make it clear- yeah, it basically is a clickbait title. Although, it's not a lie-- I tried something out called Pyxel Edit and I have a couple initial thoughts on it.

For one, I like the implication of adding pixels onto a little map and getting the tilesets individually from there, although this isn't something for me personally. It reminds me of TexturePacker which automatically adds files/sprites onto a spritesheet/tileset for you, but costs $40; sometimes even $20.

Now either I'm a bit of a cheapskate, or that's just too much for me. If needed, I'd rather try using Pyxel Edit although a huge pain.

Here's the first Pixel Art I made on Pyxel Edit so far.

I'm not exactly sure what it is, just decided I wanted to make something that looked god-like yet still super evil-- like a Final Boss of some sort.
