Although a bit cringe, I decided to make a VERY simplified Main Menu to test my ability and stuff. I think I did pretty decent, this is what it looks like as of now.
The button is functional, and puts you into the game upon clicking it.
I have this working using the different Construct 3 Layouts, it basically just swaps you over to the game Layout when you press it.
You can also press Escape within the game to bring yourself back to the Main Menu.
The button below, has a red outline. But that wasn't just decided for design..
The red outline of this button switches to a white variant when the mouse is hovering over it. I was planning on doing a pressing animation as well, but I didn't have the personal time.
Here's what the Main Menu event sheet looks like, the rotate thing I haven't fully figured out yet and may just use a tutorial for-- but for now it's there and not functional.
