Here's a prototype for a miner hat I was thinking I could make into tiers. The different tiers could be what affects your overall vision, and would be really useful for you when you go mining.
It's going to be pinned to the player, but if not worth it obviously won't product any effect or be visible at all. I plan on reusing this exact sprite for other armor pieces, and it will switch through animations to look and feel natural. Of course this is a work in progress and I am currently working on a "bald" sprite for the player, by default you will wear a swabbie (the hat) and probably those default clothes. It is all still being sketched out
