Something that really sucks about Mario-related games is that they never let you toggle a zoom-out, not even with constraints to a certain amount. I think if I were to add that onto here it would make it a lot more unique, and just being able to see the entire level in the Editor itself feels really cool.
Although there isn't too much in Level 2, you can use this image to figure out how the first picture works. The background of the level is fully attached to the Layer and has a manual color change allowing me to change the shading to slowly reflect into something else. Like, I could go from a blue shade to a purple shade-- to a nice green shade.
I'll feel fully done with this project when I make at least 5 levels instead of just one, but for now this is where I'll leave it off. I'll likely be working on this later today, and a good amount throughout the week. Looking forward to seeing where this goes and I'll post more updates when I'm able to.
